RESULTS
The expected outcomes from achieving these objectives are as follows:
a. Acquisition of practical knowledge and skills in Full Stack Web Development through a structured and comprehensive training program.
b. Increased self-awareness and self-confidence among participating mothers, contributing to their personal and professional growth.
c. Creation of a valuable network of contacts between participants and organizations in the tech sector.
d. A significant number of participants re-entering the job market and obtaining stable and fulfilling employment.
In addition to providing the technical skills needed to become web developers, the project also commits to offering:
- Soft skills such as effective communication, teamwork, time management, self-awareness, creativity, and problem solving, as well as an industry-ready mindset.
- Employability sessions including CV review, LinkedIn profile enhancement, GitHub setup, and personal portfolio development.
- A Career Day, during which course graduates will have the chance to meet with HR representatives from tech companies and pursue their dream job.
- Finally, job opportunities that may interest participants will be shared through the community’s Discord server.
The project’s objectives are strategically aligned with the priorities of the Erasmus+ small-scale partnership programme. The project addresses the urgent need to support and empower mothers who wish to return to the labor market by providing them with new, in-demand skills in a sector that is constantly evolving and growing.
Moreover, the project recognizes the importance of inclusivity and diversity, with a particular focus on involving disadvantaged women, such as those with a migrant background, acknowledging the specific challenges they may face when seeking employment opportunities.

MULTIPLIER EVENTS
Dissemination Events in Rome
Starting from September 2025, Rome became the vibrant hub of dissemination activities for the WebMoms: Empowering Mothers in Tech project, hosting a series of public events and thematic meetings targeting diverse audiences: mothers, ICT professionals, third-sector organizations, training providers, and institutional stakeholders.
The first cycle of events aimed to present the project and its initial results, highlighting the training pathway developed and the skills acquired by participants. These meetings provided an opportunity to showcase the value of the initiative in supporting mothers’ reintegration into the labour market through the development of both digital and soft skills.
In the following months, the events evolved into networking and exchange opportunities, fostering dialogue between beneficiaries, technology experts, and company representatives. These gatherings strengthened the connection between training and employability, creating concrete opportunities for interaction between job seekers and potential employers.
At the same time, interactive workshops and information sessions were organized to share tools, methodologies, and best practices developed throughout the project. These moments had strong replicability value, enabling other organizations to learn about and adopt the WebMoms approach within their own local contexts.
A central role was also played by events focused on awareness-raising and inclusion, engaging the wider community and promoting broader reflection on gender equality, access to employment, and digital transformation.
Impact and Sustainability
The dissemination events held in Rome represented a key element in increasing the project’s visibility and ensuring its long-term sustainability. Through targeted communication and active stakeholder engagement, the project contributed to building a proactive and aware community, ready to support and replicate the WebMoms experience beyond its duration.
This series of initiatives confirmed the importance of dissemination as a strategic tool to transform project results into concrete opportunities for the local community and for the women involved. ✨

WebMoms Presented at the Una Quantum Conference in Bologna
On 19 December 2025, the WebMoms project was presented during the annual Una Quantum conference held in Bologna, as part of the event “Technologies Open Source for Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism”. The conference took place at the University of Bologna, one of Italy’s leading academic institutions for research and innovation.
The Una Quantum conference, now in its fifth edition, represents a well-established national event bringing together experts, researchers, and practitioners working at the intersection of digital technologies and cultural heritage. The 2025 edition gathered a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives from major Italian universities, research centres, and professionals from the digital and cultural sectors.
During the conference, the WebMoms project was introduced as a concrete example of how digital skills development can contribute to social inclusion and employability. The presentation highlighted the project’s core mission: empowering mothers to re-enter the labour market by equipping them with in-demand ICT and soft skills.
The event provided an important opportunity to engage with academic stakeholders, fostering dialogue with representatives from leading Italian universities and research institutions. Participants showed strong interest in the project’s innovative approach, particularly its combination of technical training, soft skills development, and employability support tailored to women with fewer opportunities.
In addition to showcasing the project’s objectives and activities, the presentation emphasized its broader impact in addressing key societal challenges, such as gender equality, access to employment, and digital transformation. The exchange of ideas during the conference also opened up new possibilities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and future synergies with the academic sector.
The Una Quantum conference proved to be a valuable dissemination moment for WebMoms, strengthening its visibility at national level and reinforcing its connection with the research and innovation ecosystem. By engaging directly with universities and experts, the project continues to build a strong network capable of supporting its long-term impact and sustainability. ✨
