The Project Musician+, funded by the European Commission under the programme Erasmus Plus, has the main goal to boost the self-enterpreunership of musicians and give an impulse to the creation of a new generation of music artists with a greater awarness of their potentiality and more digital skills.

After the long pandemic Covid-19, that heavely damaged the whole artistic world, the project Musicians+ wants to bring out and proactivity and resiliance of musicians and promote their professionalism.

The project foresees a learning path that will directly involve 12 musicians from Italy, Romania and Spain with the objectives to:

  • enhance the digital literacy of musicians about digital tools and channels they can successful leverage to promote themselves and look for self-employability opportunities (locally and abroad);
  • increase the entrepreneurial skills of M and guide them towards the development of their personal business plan;
  • showcase success stories of self-entrepreneur musicians to boost the attitude towards music as a profitable job;
  • enrich the educational offer of the partner organisations with a new format of training course targeted to musicians and improve the knowledge and skills of their staff in working with and for musicians.

The Project Musician+is lead by Associazione Nazionale Musiciasti Italiani ANMI

Kick off Meeting 4 Maggio 2022

Il 4 maggio 2022 si è tenuto il kick off meeting che ha dato ufficialmente inizio alle attività del progetto Musician + . La riunione si è tenuta a Roma presso la sede del capofila e coordinatore ANMI, Associazione Nazionale Musicisti Italiani con la partecipazione delle Organizzazioni Partner ATIC dalla Romania e Euexia dalla Spagna.

La riunione è stata una occasione importante di briefing del progetto e di definizione delle attività, dei loro contenuti e del timing.

In particolare, la presenza di giovani musicisti, in rappresentanza delle organizzazioni partner, ha consentito di evidenziare le difficoltà le esigenze e le sfide reali di questa categoria target di progetto e di andare a confermare e, ulteriormente arricchire, l’analisi di contesto realizzata dalla partnership in fase di preparazione del progetto. Sono emerse idee migliorative, nuove prospettive e opportunità tra cui la possibilità di coinvolgere i musicisti partecipanti al progetto al “Roma Music Festival”, un palco internazionale dedicato agli artisti emergenti, ideato e coordinato da ANMI, che si terrà nella Capitale il 10 e 11 Dicembre 2022. 

Il partenariato ringrazia la Commissione Europea per aver creduto e finanziato il progetto Musician + che mira a rendere i musicisti più consapevoli del loro valore e più resilienti nei confronti di eventi imprevedibili, come la pandemia da Covid, grazie a un rilevante miglioramento delle loro capacità imprenditoriali e digitali e delle loro conoscenze.

Kick off Meeting 4th May 2022

The 4th of May 2022 was held the kick off meeting that officially starts the activities of the project.  Musician + . The meeting was held in Rome in the headquarter of the Lead Partner ANMI, National Association of Italian Musicians with the participation of the partner organization ATIC from Romania and Euexia from Spain.

The meeting was an important chance to deepen the project’s objectives and structure and to define its activities, contents and timetable.  

Particularly, the presence of young musicians, in representation of the partner organizations, allowed to highlight the real needs and challenges of the project target group and to confirm, and even further enrich, the needs analysis provided by the partnership during the project writing phase. Many improving ideas, perspectives and opportunities emerged, among them the possibility to involve the attending participants of the project in the “Roma Music Festival”, an international stage addressed to the emerging artists that is going to be held in December 2022.

The partnership is greatfull to the European Commission for trusting and funding the project Musician + aiming to make Musicians more aware about their value and more resilient towards unexpected event, such as the Covid pandemic, thanks to an improvement of their entrepreneurial and digital skills and knowledge.
